About the company

Our client is a Series B software company building the lending and loan-origination platform that commercial lenders run their business on. Founded in 2020, around 30 people, with $44M raised. Lending software is a domain where correctness matters more than speed — the product carries real money and real regulatory weight, and the customers are institutions that expect it to behave.

The role

This is a technical product seat, not a roadmap-and-spec seat. You'd own a core area of the platform end to end: understanding how lenders actually work, deciding what gets built, and working shoulder to shoulder with engineering through delivery. Expect to go deep on workflow and data modelling, and to be the person who can hold both the customer's problem and the system's constraints in mind at once.

What you'll do

  • Own a core product area of the lending platform end to end
  • Translate how commercial lenders work into product and workflow decisions
  • Partner closely with engineering through design, delivery and iteration
  • Work directly with lender customers to validate problems before building
  • Balance regulatory and correctness constraints against shipping speed
