About the company

Our client is building autonomous AI voice agents for trades and field-services businesses. The product plugs into trades CRMs so AI customer-service representatives can book and schedule jobs on their own. Founded in 2023, around 14 people, $13M raised, based in London.

The role

A backend-leaning full-stack staff role building core product across Python, TypeScript, cloud infrastructure, event-driven systems, third-party integrations, AI/ML, and voice platforms. You'll own the full lifecycle — working directly with customers to understand what they need, scoping the solution, and delivering the outcome.

What you'll do

  • Build and ship core product features across Python, TypeScript, cloud infrastructure, event-driven systems, and third-party integrations
  • Own the lifecycle: work directly with customers to understand needs, scope solutions, and deliver outcomes
  • Know when to hack an MVP to deliver value quickly and when to invest in scalable foundations
  • Raise the bar on testing, documentation, reliability, security, and engineering best practices
