About the company
Our client builds AI software that automates timekeeping for lawyers — capturing the work a lawyer does through the day and turning it into polished time entries, so nobody has to reconstruct their hours at the end of the week. They have strong product-market fit: more than 200 paying law firms, nearly every pilot converting to a paid contract, and net dollar retention well above 100%. Founded in 2022 and seed-funded, the company roughly doubled revenue twice in the past year and is a founder-led team of about 14 people in New York.
The role
This is the first seat dedicated entirely to existing customers. You would own retention, expansion and renewals across a fast-growing base of 200+ law firms, build the post-sale playbook from scratch, and turn happy customers into the company's strongest growth engine. You report directly to the co-founder and co-CEO, with the opportunity to build out the whole post-sale function over time. It suits someone who likes ambiguity, likes closing, and wants to be responsible for millions of dollars in recurring revenue.
What you'll do
- Run regular customer check-ins — business reviews for larger firms, a lighter touch for the rest — own the cadence, and drive the product improvements that come out of those conversations
- Drive seat expansion, term extensions, upsells and renewals across 200+ law firm accounts
- Own the adoption lifecycle for new features, so thousands of users hear about and actually use what the team ships
- Build monitoring dashboards and automations that surface churn risk and expansion opportunities before anyone else sees them
- Be a key voice in roadmap decisions by synthesizing recurring customer feedback and feature requests
- Travel to visit customers in person
Nice to have
- Experience selling to or managing relationships with lawyers, professional services firms or senior executives
- A polished communicator who earns credibility with skeptical, senior stakeholders
- Early-stage startup experience (seed to Series B) where you built processes from scratch
Tech stack
HubSpot, Apollo, Slack, Zapier and n8n, plus RB2B, Leadpipe and Claude Code.
