Founding Sales Enablement Lead
About the company
Our client is a New York company building an AI platform for accounting firms — giving accountants what amounts to a team of AI assistants. Founded in 2023, they are around 120 people, have raised $140M, and already count some of the largest accounting firms in the world as customers. Growth has been fast enough that the sales organisation now needs a dedicated enablement function rather than an improvised one.
The role
This is a founding hire: the first dedicated enablement person, building the function from nothing. You would own onboarding and ramp for new sellers, the enablement tooling, and the programmes that keep a fast-growing sales team consistent as it scales. It is a real greenfield brief — strategy, tooling and content are all yours — and it suits someone who has done this before at a startup rather than inherited a mature playbook. The client is explicit that this is on-site five days a week in their Flatiron office, with no remote or hybrid exceptions.
What you'll do
- Build the sales enablement function from the ground up — strategy, tooling and process
- Own onboarding and ramp programmes for new sellers, and measure whether they actually work
- Cut ramp time and lift win rates and quota attainment, with numbers to show for it
- Choose and run the enablement tooling stack alongside Salesforce
- Partner with sales leadership as the organisation scales, in person, five days a week

Tech stack
Salesforce is the system of record. The enablement tooling around it is yours to choose and own — there is no inherited stack to work around.
