Founding Engineer

About the company

Our client is an early-stage startup building a small, talent-dense team to deploy AI agents into large industrial supply chains, working with procurement and supply chain teams at major customers.

The role

This is a founding, end-to-end engineering seat. You would go from a customer's factory floor to shipping production code in the same week, working directly with the founders on the technical and strategic direction of the company. Expect to travel to customers every one to two months, sometimes internationally.

What you'll do

• Deploy forward with customers and embed with procurement and supply chain teams to understand their hardest problems
• Turn what you learn in the field into product and infrastructure features
• Own entire workstreams end to end, from scoping to deployment
• Work closely with the founders on technical and strategic direction
• Set the standard for what agentic supply chain software looks like

Nice to have

• Experience building with or deploying LLMs
• Supply chain or procurement domain experience
• Forward-deployed engineering experience
• TypeScript and React

Tech stack

Python, TypeScript, React, LLMs and AI agents.

Compensation & logistics

• $160k–$230k base + competitive equity
• On-site in San Francisco; travel every one to two months
• Open to candidates who need no sponsorship; visa transfers considered case by case
